This National Geographic series has a different take on history and finds new angles to explore exciting, little-known stories and curiosities that took place in the shadow of famous historic events.
I had the pleasure of working on the animation front with Hocus Pocus Studio to deliver the motion graphics for the series. The project comprised of 8 episodes with 10 minutes of animation each, and was developed over several months by a team of artists and animators to bring history to life in an innovative way.
The style consists of carefully crafted illustrations and collages that were later animated to give everything a fresh look and feel.
